Roush Fenway trio Greg Biffle, David Ragan and Matt Kenseth have topped qualifying for Sunday’s AAA Texas 500.
The two front-row starters, who both failed to make the Chase this year, were separated by just 0.001s around the 1.5 mile oval.
Paul Menard was the best of the rest in fourth, while Tony Stewart, David Reutimann, Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski, Kasey Kahne and Regan Smith rounded out the top 10.
Australian Marcos Ambrose will start 12th, while Kevin Harvick, who sits third in the championship standings behind Edwards and Stewart with three rounds remaining, could qualify just 21st.
