Kim Jones says that the sky is the limit after BJR’s upward progress in V8 Supercars led to the team’s first V8 race win last weekend.
Jones, part-owner of Brad Jones Racing, says that his team’s first win has been a long time coming, but now with consistent speed being delivered, the time is right to open the floodgates.
“We just haven’t had the package that has enabled us to get there. This time, we did it on genuine speed, on race strategy and the cars are going better,” he said.
“Now, we’ve got all three cars rocking and rolling. Who knows what the future holds.
“It has been a long time coming. This might sound big headed, but everything else we’ve done up until V8 Supercars, at worst we’ve won, At best we’ve dominated.
“But anytime you split the Vodafone cars, you know you’re having a good day.”
