Jack Miller will honour the victims of the Christchurch mosque shootings with a special number design on his Ducati’s fairing at this weekend’s Argentina MotoGP.
The Queenslander has switched his usual orange #43 for black with a silver fern for what is the first grand prix since the shootings on March 15.
Fifty people died and around as many were injured in the rampages in two mosques in the South Island city, for which remembrance services are taking place in Christchurch and Auckland today.
He braved wet conditions to take a maiden premier class pole last year in Argentina before finishing fourth in one of the strangest and most controversial races ever.
MotoGP practice starts in the early hours of tomorrow morning (AEDT).
