Dick Johnson Racing has undergone an internal management restructure, effective immediately.

General manager Glenn Turnor and financial controller Amanda Bressow have been stood down from their roles at the famous Queensland V8 Supercars team, with their positions made redundant.

The finance and commercial department of the race team will now be handled by Crimsafe – a minority owner of DJR. The management of the sponsorship partners will continue to be managed by Brad Harris.

Legendary team owner Johnson told Speedcafe.com the split with Turnor and Bressow is amicable.

“We’re having a restructure of the whole place,” Johnson told Speedcafe.com.

“Since Archer Capital has taken over the majority of V8 Supercars, the whole system has changed somewhat, and it has given us a chance to reorganise our whole business.

“We all sat down, spoke about it and the best way for us is to outsource certain things, but it’s absolutely an amicable split.

“Glenn and Amanda have been with us for about three years, and they did a fantastic job, but things needed to be changed and they were a part of that.”

Turnor wishes Dick Johnson Racing the best for the future.

“Any small to medium business faces challenges, and this is an decision that had to be made in the best interest of the business,” Turnor told Speedcafe.com.

“If you look back at what has been achieved at the team, together with the challenges, I’m pretty proud of the success I saw there, and that is all to do with the extremely talent bunch of guys that work there.

“I leave with nothing but my very best wishes to Dick and the team for the future.”

Dick Johnson Racing will be seen on the race track tomorrow for a test day at Queensland Raceway.
