Ducati has revealed the livery new signing Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso will carry during the 2017 MotoGP season.
The famous Italian marque showcased the new colours on its 2016 specification machine at its Bologna headquarters, just a day after Yamaha's 2017 launch.
Ducati is expected to fully reveal its GP17 machine, which will now run without the banned winglets, nearer to the start of the new season.
New recruit Lorenzo has already been impressed by Ducati's latest offering following his maiden run on the 2017 Desmosedici GP at Valencia late last year.
“For me it was a bit of a shock,” said Lorenzo when referring to his first run.
”But the truth is it was a big, major, positive change.
“The stability of this bike is incredible. The rideability is absolutely unparalleled. It's so powerful, it looks like a nervous bike, but it's not.
“It's easy to keep control both on the straights and also in the corners. It's an incredible surprise.”
Ducati will ramp up the development of its new machine when testing continues next week.
Test riders Casey Stoner and Michele Pirro are expected to jump aboard the machines at Malaysia's Sepang International Circuit from January 25-26.
