Erebus Motorsport will run an evaluation day for rising Dunlop Super2 star Jordan Boys at Winton tomorrow.
The Melbourne squad is set to run one of its Holden ZB Commodores for Boys who is preparing for his third Super2 season with Image Racing, that has recently formed an alliance with Erebus Motorsport.
Boys will be joined at the Victorian circuit by David Reynolds, who will log 10 laps as permitted under Supercars evaluation day regulations.
The day will act as an opportunity for the team to evaluate the 21-year-old driver and work on ironing out technical changes for the new season, including the new control ECU.
“At an evaluation day you can do as many changes as you want but we don’t expect to develop anything,” Ryan told Speedcafe.com.
“A couple of things have changed again since last week’s test day with the ECU and just some more fine tuning on that.
“It would be nice to know that we will go out at Adelaide with no issues.
“I think Jordan has been in some older equipment at Image Racing and he batted above his average in the car so it will be good to see him.”
Erebus will share the track with Brad Jones Racing, who will field Macauley Jones for a rookie day and its Super2 entry for Jack Smith.
Kelly Racing will also use one of its rookie days for new signing Garry Jacobson, while Tickford Racing will run a test day for its Super2 Falcon driven by Tom Randle.
Image Racing is also expected to field three cars at the circuit.
