A Formula One car has made its Surfers Paradise street track debut today.
Driven by part-time V8 Supercars driver Cameron McConville, the car completed three shakedown laps at the circuit this morning before taking selected passengers for rides later in the weekend.
It is the first time that a F1 car has driven around the Surfers Paradise track.
The two-seat F1 car is owned by ex-Minardi F1 team owner Paul Stoddart
The car is here to promote the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park, to be held on March 15-18, 2012.
