Ferrari (Formula 1) and Ducati (MotoGP) have completed their pre-season ‘Wrooom’ media event with a kart race, featuring Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso, Giancarlo Fisichella, Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden.
The annual January event takes place at Madonna di Campiglio near Trento, Italy.
The video below shows all five ‘Malboro’ sponsored stars on the slops, before sliding their way around an ice race track in Fiat Pandas, followed by the kart race.
The Fiat race was won by Massa from Stoner and Hayden. In the karts, new Ferrari team-mates Alonso and Massa scraped with Alonso passing Massa, before spinning to a halt. Ferrari test and reserve driver Fisichella won the race.
Hayden won the challenge overall.
New Ferrari driver Alonso also debuted a new helmet design, featuring more red to coincide with his move to the famous Italian team.
