The Paynter Dixon Touring Car Masters field will have five races, including its 300th since inception, at the upcoming Sydney MasterBlast.

The inclusion of night time running at the event formerly known as Muscle Car Masters has allowed for five TCM sessions on the Saturday alone.

That day kicks off with a 20-minute qualifying session in the morning, followed by the Dometic Trophy Race and then the full points-paying Race 14 of the season, which is the 300th in series history, in the late afternoon.

Those sessions will be held on the standard Gardner GP Circuit before the shorter Druitt Circuit, which bypasses Corporate Hill, comes into play for the night.

There will be another 10-minute qualifying session under lights, then TCM’s first ever night race, which will essentially also be a trophy race with 10 points on offer to each starter and another 10 each for finishing.

A further two full points races back on the Gardner GP Circuit complete Round 5 of the season on the Sunday.

The event, which runs from August 30-September 1, will also feature racing for Heritage Touring Cars (Group C & A), Group N, Group S, Production Touring Cars, Sports Sedans, Superkarts, and the Sydney TT for motorcycles.
