Ford Performance Racing will become the first team to test multiple Car of the Future V8 Supercars when it rolls out three new-generation Ford Falcons at Winton Motor Raceway early next week.
Following the completion of both of its single-car, ‘accredited manufacturer’, COTF test days in September, the factory Ford team will shake down two new cars on Monday.
The three-car Tuesday test will then mark the first of the team’s 10 test days allocated for the 2013 season.
Other teams set to attend the test with their Car of the Future machines are the Holden Racing Team and Garry Rogers Motorsport.
The Holden Racing Team will have two cars on track for the first full test day in its allotment, running its maiden test car and the chassis that will be destined for Tony D’Alberto Racing next year.
GRM meanwhile will be undertaking its second and final accredited manufacturer test day with its first car, providing Scott McLaughlin his first laps with the Melbourne squad as an ‘official’ team driver.

All three Holdens will be running in VE specification, with the new VF bodywork not set to begin track testing until February.
