FPR 1-2-3 in Sunday V8 qualifying in Darwin

Pole man Will Davison with FPR team-mates David Reynolds and Mark Winterbottom

Will Davison has led a Ford Performance Racing 1-2-3 in Sunday qualifying for the SKYCITY Triple Crown at Darwin’s Hidden Valley Raceway.

The session came alive in the final minute as most of the crews waited to the death to set their times.

The Trading Post FPR driver backed-up his performance in yesterday’s Top-10 Shootout with another blistering lap to edge Mark Winterbottom in the Orrcon Steel FPR Falcon with David Reynolds bringing the green Bottle O Racing Ford up into third.

Yesterday’s race winner Jamie Whincup (TeamVodafone) will start fourth, with Michael Caruso in the Fujitsu Racing GRM Commodore enjoying his best session of the season to start fifth.

This afternoon’s 69-lap gets underway just after 3pm local time.
