The passing of Jason Richards, a year ago this weekend, continues to resonate emotion amongst his fans and friends in the Australasian motorsport landscape.
Social media was loaded with tributes and memories yesterday, remembering a year since he succumb to a aggressive cancer.
To remember the 12 months since Richards' passing, former team-mate Jason Bright kicked off a major fundraising exercise, releasing 250 mini helmets, depicting Bright's tribute helmet that he competed with.
The helmets were created before Richards' passing with all funds originally being given to Richards for his treatment. Now, Bright donating all funds to Richards' young daughters – Olivia and Sienna.

Bright's fundraising quests is one of a number of initiatives over the past 12 months, which has been led by two-time Bathurst 1000 winner and close friend John Bowe.
Bowe has created some limited edition t-shirts, plus JR replicates hats, all raising money for the Olivia and Sienna Trust Fund.
