The IRWIN Tools Night Race continues to prove a standout on the 36-event NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule with another action-packed contest taking place at the weekend.
Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota driver Denny Hamlin survived a typically hard fought 500 lap encounter to beat Hendrick Motorsport team-mates Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon to the chequered flag.

The newly reconfigured Bristol Motor Speedway bounced back from its March attendance woes with a large crowd filling much of the 160,000 seat ‘colosseum'.
Among those attending was New Zealand builder Keith Brown, who made the journey to the event alongside his wife Leonie after winning the IRWIN Tools ‘Rip a Trip' competition promoted on Speedcafe.com.
The pair watched the race unfold from the IRWIN hospitality suite located above the grandstand on the front-stretch having earlier taken in the Richard Petty Driving Experience at the nearby Kingsport Speedway.
“It was an amazing event for us, a real eye-opener,” Brown told Speedcafe.com after the race.
“Going to a NASCAR race wasn't something that was on our radar before winning this competition, but we really enjoyed taking in the colour and excitement of the event.
“From our point of view it was an amazing trip as it was so well organised that all we had to do was relax and have fun.”
