James Moffat has beaten Michael Caruso to the fastest time in Practice 2 for the V8 Supercars at the Norton 360 Sandown Challenge.
The Jim Beam Racing Falcon driver recorded a best of 1:11.02s on his final lap of the 30 minute session to edge out the Fujitsu Racing Commodore by 0.3s.
Todd Kelly, Paul Dumbrell and James Courtney rounded out the top five, having also secured top five spots in the morning’s opening session.
Hot conditions again greeted the drivers in the second session, with a considerable headwind on the back straight also slowing lap times.
The full-field will take part in Practice 3 at 1245 local time.
