While the guest of honour was Kevin Bartlett, the end-of-year race meeting celebrated many of the great names of the past in the form of perpetual trophies.
In Group N Historic Touring Cars there was the Brian Foley and Ian Geoghegan Trophies that were won by Peter O’Brien (Nc Ford Falcon XY GT) and Greg Toepfer (Nb Ford Mustang).
After a 40-minute enduro earlier which was won by Wayne Seabrook, the Bill Brown award also went to the Sc Porsche 911 Carrera driver.
In honour of the influential leader of historic motorsport, the late John Dawson-Damer Memorial Trophy went to the pre-1960 Groups M & O winner and was taken out by Travis Clark in a Rennmax BN-3.
Other categories also raced for perpetual trophies named in honour of Bernie Haelnle Formula Vees), John Leffler (Formula Fords), Jack Brabham (Group M Racing), Leo Geoghegan (Group O Racing), Ron Tauranac (Group Q Racing), Bib Stillwell (Group Q Sports), Frank Gardner (Group L Sports) and Alec Mildren (Group L Racing).
An ever-growing disciple at historic meetings are sprints and regularities which also attract trophies from the event.
