The entire Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour will again be telecast live in 2016, the Seven Network has confirmed.
Seven, which broadcast the race for the first time earlier this year, is only obliged to show the end of the race live under its existing multi-year deal.
Its ongoing commitment remains unchanged following V8 Supercars' purchase of the 12 Hour from previous promoter James O'Brien.
“We are delighted to once again be the broadcast partner of this great event,” said Seven's Head of Sport Saul Shtein.
“We have a long and deep connection with Mount Panorama over the past five decades and look forward to working with the event, the teams and the drivers to build on the success of the 12 Hour.”
Further details including the commentary team and a breakdown of coverage between Seven's primary channel and 7mate are yet to be confirmed.
The race will also continue to be streamed online via the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour website.
