Ford has supplied Shell V-Power Racing and Tickford Racing with special glow in the dark Mustang badges for this weekend’s Pirtek Perth SuperNight.
The blue oval has embraced Supercars’ night racing concept by creating special versions of the iconic pony badges which are designed to stand out under lights at Barbagallo Wanneroo Raceway.
Supercars teams have been encouraged to make alterations to liveries to help them stand out in night racing conditions.
All six Mustangs are expected to run the badges while both teams have made use of reflective materials to enhance the look of their colour schemes.

The new look Mustangs will run under lights for the first time when opening practice begins on Thursday at 1840 local time.
