MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez is expected to be fit for the first Sepang test early next year after undergoing a successful surgery on his shoulder.
The factory Honda rider is likely to be discharged from Hospital Universitari Dexeus before the end of the week after doctors performed an operation to resolve a recurring left shoulder dislocation.
Upon release from hospital, Marquez is set to begin a six-week rehabilitation program in his home town, Cervera in Spain.
The five-time premier class world champion will then kick start his off season training program to ensure his fitness in time for first 2019 pre-season test at Sepang, Malaysia from February 6-8.
