An update from Brad Jones Racing concerning the #21 chassis crashed at Sandown and the progress on its replacement.
The squad’s Team Cooldrive Commodore was destroyed following a frightening crash involving Todd Hazelwood during Saturday’s co-driver race at the Melbourne circuit.
“We have got a new chassis that we had put together as a spare/new car for next year, so we are going to bring that forward and build that up for Bathurst,” team owner Brad Jones told Speedcafe.com.
“From the minute the car was damaged the team have been in at work finishing off the chassis. They have done an amazing job so far.
“The guys will be turning it into a car shortly and have it ready for Bathurst.”
