Organisers of Roborace, the new racing series for autonomous cars, have released a video outlining its features.
In the inaugural season, known as ‘Season Alpha’, teams will be supplied identical cars and compete on the basis of writing the best self-driving software.
Roborace claims to have in fact already held a race at Monteblanco in Spain, with further events to follow on race tracks, hill climbs, and proving grounds.
