Jonathon Webb has finished Practice 2 on top of the timesheets at Sydney Motorsport Park this morning.
The Tekno Autosports driver, who is sporting increased support from Sydney Sea Doo this weekend, bettered Lee Holdsworth's lap time from opening practice session when he clocked a 1:30.4514s late in the session.
Webb's lap time was just 0.0280s faster than TeamVodafone's Craig Lowndes, who continued his good early form at the refurbished western Sydney circuit.
Lowndes was followed by his team-mate Jamie Whincup, jumping up the timesheets in the dying stages of the session.
Holden Racing Team's Garth Tander was fourth fastest ahead by David Reynolds, local boy Michael Caruso and Team Norton DJR's James Moffat.
Team BOC Commodore driver Jason Bright finished the session eighth while Mark Winterbottom and Fabian Coulthard rounded out the top 10.
Alexandre Premat had a strong showing, finishing the session 11th fastest in what is his first visit to Sydney Motorsport Park.
