Today, the Castrol EDGE Endurance Countdown looks at the #5 Orrcon Steel Ford Performance Racing Ford Falcon FG entry of Mark Winterbottom and Luke Youlden.
Currently third in the V8 Supercars Championship Series, Winterbottom is in the hunt for the title, but after a couple of horror results at Queensland Raceway and Winton, he is a considerable points gap away from title leaders James Courtney and Jamie Whincup.
What does this mean? Winterbottom simply can’t afford a bad result in the next two races.
Partnering Winterbottom in the Orrcon Steel FPR Falcon is Luke Youlden – one of the safest pair of hands in the co-driving business. He’s been in ‘championship’ situations before, but how will he go this year?
