Dick Johnson Racing has announced Allphones as its windscreen sponsor on the #18 Team Norton DJR Ford.
Allphones, an independant telecommunications retailer, will be seen on James Moffat’s Falcon for the remaining events of the 2012 season.
“We’re very excited to have Allphones as a sponsor on the Team Norton DJR Falcon for 2012,” says Scott Jennings, chief operating officer of DJR.
“It’s exciting to bring new brands into our sport, particularly technology/telecommunications retail brands that complement our current sponsors such as Norton by Symantec and Toshiba.”
With over 160 locations across all states and territories, Allphones is the largest independent telecommunications retailer in Australia.
Domenic Pompeii, marketing director of Allphones believes the partnership with Team Norton DJR is ideal for the retailer.
“Allphones is thrilled to be the windscreen sponsor on the Team Norton DJR V8 Supercar,” Pompeii said.
“With its national coverage, huge number of passionate fans, and growing number of high tech sponsors, V8 Supercars is an ideal sport for Allphones to be involved in, and we’re looking forward to leveraging our sponsorship both on and off the race track in 2012.”
Moffat qualified 26th for today’s V8 Supercars ‘Qualifying Race.’ The race starts at 1100.
