Speedcafe.com has launched an innovative new service allowing fans to stay connected anywhere, anytime with its first mobile news app.
The free Speedcafe.com news app is available for download via both the Apple Store and Android Google Play Store.
The app works on the latest Apple and Android smartphones, tablets and smartwatches.
Fans are able to subscribe to individual news categories, allowing for instant notifications when a news story is published.
Subscribers will also be able to receive breaking news updates as it happens.
Performance motoring news and features from Torquecafe.com are also included in the content pool within the app.
The app release allows fans to stay connected in real time, noted Speedcafe.com general manager Justin Murray.
“Our commitment is delivering your racing fix directly to your inbox so this takes it to another level again,” said Murray.
“Distributing Speedcafe.com’s award-winning motorsport and automotive content through this platform empowers our readers even further to be the most informed.
“Fans having the ability to subscribe to categories that they care about for instant notifications when a new story is published brings them as close to our newsroom as you can get.”
Last year Speedcafe.com released a motorsport industry first with a news service via Facebook Messenger using AI technology, attracting thousands of users to sign up.
Convenience and innovation continues to lead Speedcafe.com’s digital strategy, highlighted by this month’s new website release.
“How fans digest and access content is forever evolving and we must adapt and stay ahead of the trends,” added Murray.
Keeping Speedcafe.com free for all users is a list of nationally and internationally recognised brands including Pirtek, Michelin, Castrol Edge, Dasher + Fisher, Supercheap Auto, Kincrome, KTM, TyrePlus, R&J Batteries and Lloyds Auctions.
