Broc Feeney is one of Australia’s next generation of Supercars stars. Feeney raced karts before graduating to cars in 2017, racing in New Zealand’s Toyota 86 Championship before moving into Australia’s equivalent series in 2018.
It wasn’t long before Feeney was strapped into V8 touring cars, winning the Super3 Series in 2019 under the guidance of mentor and Bathurst 1000 winner Paul Morris.
The COVID-19 pandemic shortened his first season in the Super2 Series with Tickford Racing in 2020, contesting just six races. He made his Bathurst 1000 debut that year with James Courtney in a Boost Mobile-backed Ford Mustang, finishing 10th alongside James Courtney.
In 2021, Feeney was brought into the Triple Eight Race Engineering fold, winning the Super2 Series. So dominant was his season that he finished outside of the top two only once. Feeney joined Supercars legend Russell Ingall in a Supercheap Auto-backed wildcard, but failed to finish the 2021 Bathurst 1000 due to a crash on Lap 143.
Jamie Whincup’s retirement at the end of 2021 opened the door for Feeney to join Red Bull Ampol Racing full-time in the Repco Supercars Championship in 2022.
Feeney achieved his first Supercars podium just four races into his full-time career at Symmons Plains and won his first race on the streets of Adelaide in the final race of the year.
