The racing may not have been great, but there were some interesting results in the Top End, including flashes of brilliance from Jimmy Golding and the Triple Eight lads finally reading the script.
And, on a weekend when offshore transient dyno testing was finally announced, parity became a talking point once again.
There was plenty of other news kicking about too, including confirmation that the Perth street race is indeed in the works for 2026.
