Casey Stoner has jumped aboard a Ducati MotoGP machine for his third test of the season.
The Australian two-time world champion is conducting a two-day test at Italy's Misano Circuit for the Bologna squad.
Since taking up a development rider role at Ducati, Stoner has completed valuable mileage for the team in a pre-season test at Sepang, followed by a private outing at Qatar in March.
This week's run marks his first ride on a MotoGP bike at a European circuit since he retired from the sport at the end of 2012.
Stoner will remain at Misano following the conclusion of today's test to take part in the World Ducati Week event from July 1-3.
