The winner of the 18 inch V8 Supercars wheel, as part of the Crimsafe Endurance Countdown, has been revealed.
Jason Mitchell from New South Wales is the lucky winner of one of the control wheels that all V8 Supercars teams will use next year.
The Team Dynamics wheel has been signed by TeamVodafone drivers Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes.
This year's Crimsafe Endurance Countdown was hosted by Tim Hodges (Fox Sports producer and radio presenter), GRM endurance driver Jack Perkins and two-times Bathurst 1000 winner John Bowe, as well as behind-the-scenes interviews by Speedcafe.com's journalists Grant Rowley and Stefan Bartholomaeus.
Speedcafe.com reader Mitchell watched all 12 episodes of the Crimsafe Endurance Countdown to get the combined total of Crimsafe Ratings – 71.5 for all those who were also playing along.
Mitchell is a Holden and TeamVodafone fan, and after years of trying to get a TeamVodafone bonnet for his home bar, Mitchell is looking forward to hanging up his new wheel in time for his annual Bathurst 1000 party.
“The Crimsafe Endurance Countdown was great, we got a good honest opinion from the likes of John Bowe and Dick about every teams' chances,” he said.
“I subscribed to SpeedcafeTV on Youtube, just to make sure I didn't miss any of the episodes.
“I am looking forward to seeing TeamVodafone take on the mountain and win again after Sandown.”
