The 2020/21 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will now feature doubleheaders in both Rome and Valencia this month.
It comes as a late revision to the calendar, with the Italian event just a fortnight away.
The Rome E-Prix will now host Rounds 3 and 4 of the season, on April 10 and 11.
The Valencia E-Prix likewise will become Rounds 5 and 6, across April 24 and 25.
Beyond that, a question mark remains.
“Formula E will continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and is in constant communication with its community of teams, manufacturers, partners, broadcasters and host cities,” read a statement.
“The remainder of the Season 7 calendar will be confirmed shortly.
“All calendar updates depend on travel restrictions, as well as local government protocols and are subject to approval of the FIA World Motor Sport Council.”
As it stands, Monaco, Marrakesh and a Santiago doubleheader are in line to round out the 10-round championship by June 6.
Nyck De Vries leads the standings after two races at Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
