Fans at this year’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 will have a chance to exhibit their creativity and passion for the Great Race by ‘Showing US Ya Tent’.

To celebrate Speedcafe.com’s impending 10th birthday this month, we have teamed with House of Muscle to create a unique trackside competition for the fans offering $1500 in prizes.

Together we are offering prizes for the best three campsites posted on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, displaying a ‘Show US Ya Tent’ sticker and the hashtag #showUSyatent and tagged @speedcafe.

This year, 7100 campsites have been created at Mt Panorama and they have been sold out.

The competition starts from 9am on Thursday, October 10 and closes as the last car crosses the line in the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 on Sunday, October 13.

The winning campsites will be voted by the Speedcafe.com team on Monday October 14 with criteria based around the effort that has gone into the campsite and the overall presentation.

The overall winner will receive a $750 gift voucher from the House of Muscle, a full set of 10 retro coffee mugs valued at $250, and a limited edition 10th anniversary Speedcafe.com mug, which are not available for sale.

Second and third place will receive a $300 and $200 House of Muscle voucher respectively as well as a Speedcafe.com 10th anniversary mug.

Speedcafe.com owner and founder, Brett ‘Crusher’ Murray, said that the ‘Show US Ya Tent’ promotion is just another way of engaging and giving back to the fans.

The competition is only open to renters of Mount Panorama campsites and proof of ownership will need to be provided if drawn as one of the winners.

“Every year the fans produce some amazing campsites and really get into the spirit of what the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 is all about,” said Murray.

“The House of Muscle has had a relationship with Speedcafe.com for a long time and we wanted to do something together for the fans.

“We think this will be an enormous amount of fun that includes some very cool prizes.”
