MEDIA RELEASE: Territory teenager Thomas Maxwell is set to take on Round 2 of the 2016 British Formula 3 Championship at the world famous Brands Hatch GP circuit this weekend.
Maxwell will hit the track this Friday for free practice followed by qualifying and three races on the Saturday and Sunday.
The teenager is excited to be racing on such an historically famous circuit and is looking to build on his strong seventh place finish in round 1 whilst he further continues to refine and develop his driving technique.
“This track is definitely one of the highlights of the season, I’d call it the Bathurst of the UK. Its very fast and one of the more technical tracks on the calendar, said Maxwell.
“There’s not a whole lot of practice before qualifying so it’ll be crucial to get up to speed fast. I know what I’ve got to do to be fast, its all a matter of executing everything to the best of my ability.”
