Team Kleen Racing double act

thumbThis weekend at Sandown you won’t be seeing double, you will in fact be seeing two Team Kleen Racing Utes out on the track in the Australian V8 Ute Racing Series.

The team sponsored by Kleen Group also welcomes on board new sponsors Victorian Body Corporate Services (VBCS) for Sandown with ongoing talks to keep them on board for the rest of the season.

Steering the second Ute will be team engineer and 3 times National Champion Adam Beechey.

“Its been 12 months since I have had a steer of anything so I will be a little rusty, but Sandown is a track I know well and we are looking for some strong results,” said Adam.

The team are hoping to be running two Utes for the rest of the year and into next year if they can get the right deal together.

“Having two Utes makes in sense in terms of trying things,” Andrew Nickolls said.

“We have very limited practice time so if we can both try different setups it will in effect double our practice time.

“So I am looking forward to seeing how it works for the team.”

The team is excited about doubling its exposure at one of the biggest races of the year and is hoping the mechanical gremlins of the last 3 rounds are now behind them.
