Laurens Vanthoor has set the fastest time for Team 75 Bernhard in official testing for the 24 Hours of Spa.
Vanthoor lapped the Belgian circuit in a time of 2:19.451s during the afternoon session in the #117 Porsche 991 GT3 R which he is sharing with Kevin Estre and Michael Christensen.
The Belgian’s time edged the #55 Kaspersky Motorsport Ferrari 488 of Giancarlo Fisichella, Marco Cioci, and James Calado by 0.086s, with the #50 AF Corse Ferrari 488 of Pasin Lathouras, Michele Rugolo, and Alessandro Pier Guidi.
The #22 Motul Team RJN Nissan GT-R which Matt Simmons will drive with Matthew Parry and Struan Moore was 16th-fastest.
Fellow Australian Jon Venter’s #3 Team WRT Audi R8, to also be driven by Josh Caygill and Hugo de Sadeleer, was classified 53rd, and 15th in Pro-Am class.
The 24 Hours of Spa program will resume with a Bronze Test on July 25, before the full field begins practice on July 27.
