Ford Performance has a significant presence at the Pirtek Perth SuperNight with its global motorsport director Mark Rushbrook and motorsport advisor Brian Novak in attendance.
Rushbrook is making his second appearance at a Supercars event having attended the Mustang's debut at the Superloop Adelaide 500 in March.
This weekend's visit, which has long been planned, coincidentally arrives after Supercars mandated controversial changes to the Mustang's aero package last week.
Ford Performance personnel were also present at Phillip Island last month with aerodynamicist Sriram Pakkam overseeing the round.
The pair are joined in the paddock Team Penske boss Roger Penske who has made the trip from the US.
Penske has previously attended rounds in Perth for commercial reasons and, like Rushbrook, had planned a trip to the round long before the recent aero changes to the Mustang.
Speedcafe.com understands that both Rushbrook and Penske are likely to meet with Supercars bosses during the weekend with the recent parity debate among topics for discussion.
Meanwhile, Tickford Racing team principal Tim Edwards is absent from the round due to a pre planned holiday to the US with his family.
Co-owner Rod Nash and team manager Matt Roberts are however on hand to oversee the weekend.
