The Australian Grand Prix Corporation and CAMS have resolved their dispute over the organisation of the 2011 event.
CAMS President Andrew Papadopoulos has announced that an agreement has been signed between the AGPC for CAMS to be the sporting organizer, as defined in the Formula One sporting regulations.
“CAMS is delighted to have reached this agreement and looks forward to continuing its role in one of the world’s best Formula One events and helping to make it an even greater success,” he said.
“Our officials are renowned internationally and trained to the highest standards. They will make an irreplaceable contribution to the running of the AGP.”
CAMS Chief Executive Officer David Morgan used the dispute resolution announcement to unveil a number of new benefits for CAMS members.
Some of these benefits include exclusive discounts on admission tickets.
Also, for the first time, CAMS national championship winners will be recognized with a parade lap during the Grand Prix weekend.
