Xbox DJR and Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport yesterday finalised details of a plan that will see the two entries share the pit box and selected equipment for the weekend.
Both will utilise a pit boom and rattle guns supplied by DJR, which has added Ambrose's car as a wildcard this weekend.

The two teams will have their own crews perform the pitstops, unless a double-stack occurs under Safety Car, in which case the first crew will perform service on both entries.
The unique share arrangement comes after DJR's request to have its own pit box was denied.
While regulations require single car entries, such as Tekno Autosports and Team ADVAM/GB, to share a pit, previous wildcards from Super Black and Triple Eight at Bathurst had been given their own working bay.
The outcome is being described by DJR as “a workable solution” after lengthy discussions with LDM and V8 Supercars in recent days.
Pitstops will be seen in all three races at the Sydney NRMA 500.
Each car must complete one stop for at least two tyres in each of today's 125km races, where the cars are also expected to take on a splash of fuel.
Sunday's 250km encounter meanwhile sees a 140 litre minimum fuel drop, necessitating at least two pitstops.
Ambrose has endured a slow start to his V8 Supercars comeback, finishing this morning's final practice at the bottom of the order.
