Formula 1 has announced the launch date for the upcoming season of Drive to Survive, which follows last year's COVID-affected campaign.
The third season of the fly-on-the-wall Netflix series will premiere on March 19, and again span 10 episodes.
Among the storylines the Drive to Survive crew followed were the last-minute cancellation of the Australian Grand Prix and the belated start to hostilities in Austria.
“From 19th March, fans will be given unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the 2020 season which saw the sport dramatically halted in Australia due to the COVID-19 pandemic and make a thrilling restart in Austria later that year,” reads Formula 1's announcement, in part.
A brief trailer has been released thus far, with a longer version to become available in coming weeks.
The series is produced by Box to Box Films.
