The first iteration of McLaren's new Honda powered Formula 1 car completed its first laps during a filming day at Silverstone.
Test driver Oliver Turvey got behind the wheel of the developmental MP4-29H, fitted with Honda's new V6 power unit, for a crucial information gathering exercise before pre-season testing begins.
F1's sporting regulations permits just 100km of running during filming days which equates to just 16 laps of the Northamptonshire circuit.
Despite the limited running, the test should provide the team with valuable data concerning the performance of the all new Honda engine ahead of next season.
The interim MP4-29H machine sported an almost identical livery compared to its sister MP4-29.
