Emsteq Systems is proud to announce that Albins Performance Transmissions has selected their RaceMS product to help track maintenance of their customer’s transmissions. Albins specialises in the design and manufacture of drivetrain components.
Their capabilities include the ability to produce; individual gears, axles, drive flanges and ring and pinions right through to complete unit, sequential shift transmissions. They are the sole supplier of transmissions to the Virgin Supercars Championship and have supplied transmissions and componentry to motorsport teams all over the world.
“As part of our commitment to Supercars Australia, we have to track the mileage and maintenance of the Transaxles that we supply to competitors.“ says Steve Macdonald, manager of Albins. “Up until now, this have been very labour intensive but with the help of Emsteq Systems’ Software, the savings in time and effort will be considerable.
“Every Supercar team in Australia has at one point or another been a client of ours and we still have more teams using our software than any of our competition. ” says Tim Noske Managing Director of Emsteq. “It made sense that Albins take on the same product. Eventually, we’ll take this further and provide a web portal to allow teams to upload their data to Albins and therefore making the process seamless.”
