The Bundaberg Red Racing team has revealed a revised look that it will campaign for the remaining rounds of the 2010 V8 Supercars Championship Series at Winton today.
The #10 and #24 Bundy Commodore VEs have undergone a livery update to the side of the cars, featuring a new, striking black design for the second half of the season.
The Walkinshaw Racing team is at Winton completing a rookie/evaluation day for Fujitsu V8 Series competitor Nick Percat, who is soon to be confirmed as Andrew Thompson’s co-driver at the L&H 500 at Phillip Island. It will be Percat’s Main Series debut.
The Bundy team is yet to officially lock away its endurance drivers. It is expected that the #24 car will be an all-New Zealand line-up, with experienced driver Craig Baird teaming with Fabian Coulthard.
Percat will line-up with Thompson in the #10 car at Phillip Island, while Australian IndyCar star Ryan Briscoe is expected to drive the entry at the Supercheap Autop Bathurst 1000 in October.
Briscoe will remain in Australia to drive with the Toll Holden Racing Team at the international-flavoured Armor All Gold Coast 600.
Both the Bundaberg Red Commodores are using the new look, but they are not updating to the new VE II bodywork. CLICK HERE for photos and full list of Holden teams competing in VE II.
