A tribute night for the multiple Supertruck champion Rodney Crick has sold out.
The night to raise money for Crick's family is being held on Friday (September 27) at the Campbelltown Catholic Club. Crick's sudden death in May shocked the motor racing community.
Organisers have been overwhelmed by the response to the special function which will be attended by Aussie F1 racer and Crick's longtime friend, Mark Webber.
Heading an extensive list of lots for the auction is a return trip to the US Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas from November 15-17.
Webber was quick to offer his time when he learned of the function, flying back to Australia after the recent Singapore grand prix.
Some of the other auction items on the night include: helmet signed by all current V8 Supercar drivers and Webber, V8 Supercar ride at Eastern Creek with Red Bull Racing on November 6, cricket bat signed by Michael Clarke, framed Rodney Crick racing shirt and picture, Red Bull Casio watch signed by Webber and NSW State of Origin jersey signed Brad Fittler.
Friends and fans of the multiple Supertruck champion will also have the chance to make direct donations through a specially-structured bank account – Rodney Crick Tribute Fundraiser – BSB: 802-388; Account: 80460
