Bathurst winner Paul Dumbrell and Sandown victor Warren Luff are likely to retain their roles as co-driver with TeamVodafone next year, according to team boss Roland Dane
Dumbrell claimed his maiden Bathurst crown yesterday when Jamie Whincup crossed the line first in a thrilling finish to the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.

The victory continued the team’s winning run in 2012, with the team now on a 10 race winning streak.
That streak includes Luff and Craig Lowndes’ win at the Sandown 500.
With another Bathurst victory in his team’s bag, Dane says that Dumbrell and Luff are all but assured of driving for the Queensland squad next year.
“Luff is one a one year deal at the moment, but I suspect he’ll be around next year,” Dane told Speedcafe.com.
“PD is on a longer deal, subject to his work commitments. As long as he doesn’t become CEO of the world, rather than just Autobarn, then he’ll be in the seat again. That’s up to him.
“They both did a really good job, both here and Sandown. They did everything that was asked of them and everything they were employed for.”
TeamVodafone’s Bathurst win continues an impressive run of victories for the team at Mount Panorama. Since first competing in V8 Supercars in 2003, the team has entered 10 Bathurst 1000s, winning five of them.
“I’m really proud of our Bathurst record,” Dane said.
“We have a 50 percent strike rate, and I don’t think any other team comes close to that.
“And to finish one and three … I’m trying to remember the last time that a team had two cars on the podium, besides our one-two (in 2010). This doesn’t happen very often, so it is a feat in itself.”
