The covers have come off Supercheap Auto TCR Australia rookie Lachlan Mineeff’s Volkswagen livery for this weekend’s action at Phillip Island.
The 18-year-old will compete in a white, red and blue Golf GTI featuring backing from Truck Dealers Australia, AutoInstruct and VAGParts Australia.
The race meeting, which forms the second points-paying event of the TCR season, will mark his first time driving the car.
“I’m super excited to be able to announce a new group of partners onto our campaign for the Phillip Island TCR Australia round,” said Mineeff.
“Without having even hit the circuit, all of the sponsors have said that TCR is a great platform to work with, and we are super excited to welcome them all onboard.”
Mineeff will hit the track for two practice sessions on Friday before qualifying and three races take place across Saturday and Sunday.
The TCR heats form part of the opening round of the 2021 Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships, with the weekend running broadcast on the Seven Network.
