Highly decorated former driver Mark Skaife is the latest entry into the V8 Supercars Hall of Fame.
The 47-year-old was inducted as part of V8 Supercars' annual Gala Awards ceremony at Sydney's Darling Harbour.
Skaife joins an elite body of former drivers, administrators and events to have made their way onto the list which was inaugurated in 1999.
The five-time series champion and five-time Bathurst 1000 winner has been heavily involved in the category since his retirement from driving.
Skaife's induction comes after his work in recent years on the Car of the Future rules which opened up the category to other car manufacturers to join the long held duopoly of Holden and Ford.
