Renders of a Nissan GT-R Supercar concept have broken cover.
Graphic design company ssMedia, which designs liveries for DJR Team Penske and also produces the on-screen car graphics for Supercars Media, has released the images of Nissan Motorsport’s potential Supercars future.
ssMedia’s GT-R sketches are wrapped in a livery reminiscent of the original look which the Nissan Altima wore when launched and tested prior to its competition debut in 2012, though white has replaced black on the coupe.
The GT-R has long been mooted as a possible replacement for the Altima under Supercars’ Gen II regulations, which permit the use of body types other than four-door sedans and non V8 engines.
Nissan Motorsport will, however, continue with the Altima into 2018 despite culling the large sedan from its Australian showroom line-up.
