Toro Rosso has confirmed that it will use year-old Ferrari engines for the 2016 Formula 1 season.
The news follows the development at sister team Red Bull, that it will use Tag Heuer branded Renault engines next year.
Toro Rosso was facing an uncertain future earlier this season after severing ties with Renault but moved quickly to open talks with Ferrari to use 2015 specification power units.
In order for the deal to be completed Ferrari had to seek clearance from the FIA which was confirmed at the latest World Motor Sport Council meeting this week.
The announcement sees the Toro Rosso operation reunited with Ferrari having used the Italian firm's engines from 2007-2013.
