Armor All has secured naming-rights sponsorship of the Bathurst 12 Hour Showroom Enduro, held at Mount Panorama, February 12-14, 2010.
The production car event, now heading towards its fourth year after its rebirth, is shaping up as the best yet, with a surge of interest and a stream of new cars being built.
Paul Blair, Marketing Manager of Armor All said he was looking forward to being involved Bathurst’s ‘other race’ next February.
“The Bathurst 12 Hour has proven over the last three years that it’s a hit with fans and competitors alike, and for us to be able to get on board while the event is growing is an exciting prospect,” he said.
“These cars are very much production based, literally what are sitting in the garages and driveways around Australia, they are the cars that our customers drive and use our products on, so it’s a very natural link.”
“This Event is going to get bigger and better in the future, and we see our involvement stretching far beyond the 2010 event.”
Armor All’s naming-rights support will see pit straight being branded ‘Armor All Straight.’ The company will also retain its branding rights from the recent Bathurst 1000 including the ‘Armor All Bridge’ at the Chase and ‘Armor All Park’ across the top of the mountain.
Event organisers are expecting over 50 cars to enter the 2010 Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour Showroom Enduro.
