Network 10 will telecast both races of the Pirtek Perth SuperNight live.
The Barbagallo weekend had originally been slated as one of 10’s highlights-only events, but will now also be simulcast live with Fox Sports.
The news was announced on 10’s RPM program.
“We are thrilled to be presenting prime-time Supercars on 10 Sport,” said Network 10 Head of Sport and Supercars presenter Matt White.
“Racing under lights showcases the category brilliantly and there is no question the Perth event will take the SuperNight concept to another level.
“Bring on the fireworks both on and off the track.”
The network’s Friday and Saturday telecasts will both start at 2030 AEST, with race start scheduled for 2045 AEST for each of Races 11 and 12 of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.
The Pirtek Perth SuperNight joins the Superloop Adelaide 500, Beaurepaires Melbourne 500, Watpac Townsville 400, Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, Vodafone Gold Coast 600, Sandown 500, and Coates Hire Newcastle 500, as live coverage events for 10.
Action at Barbagallo gets underway on Thursday, May 2.
