The Tasmania Challenge at Symmons Plains is taking place this weekend and you have until midnight (AEST) tonight (Friday April 5) to finalise your team.
Doing your homework will be key for this one. For those unaware this Saturday’s race will see a very unique format in the way of ‘60/60’ racing. Basically it will be run in two 60km ‘legs’ separated by a 15 minute service break.
Teams are able to work on their cars during the 15 minute service window and then head out for the second 60km ‘leg’ which will see a double-file rolling restart in the order the cars finished the first leg.
All 28 cars will run on the softer compound Dunlop tyre for this second round of the championship.
If you don’t submit predictions before the deadline, you won’t score points for this the Tasmania Challenge round but fans can sign-up anytime during the 2013 season with amazing round-by-round prizes also up for grabs.
